Study of the Sonora River Basin's Acid Spill

My concern for the environment began in high school, where environmental awareness from the school helped me realize that we must do something to stop or slow the rapid deterioration of the environment. Which has lead me to do my internships and research projects in akin topics. Thus, my bachelor’s research project was focused on analyzing a large amount of data that had to do with an acid spill from a mine in the Sonora River Basin where we determined that after a year, the incident did not represent a risk in the sediments. I learned a lot about bibliographic research, data curation and treatment.
