On my second master’s internship, I chose a topic which had more hands-on experience on the topic of optimizing self-stratifying coatings under the supervision of Prof. Maude Jimenez and Dr. Fabienne Samyn. These coatings are an excellent option to reduce material and time waste, leading to a greener approach to the multiple application in the conventional coatings industry. During my time here, I learned about autonomous work, how to analyze the failed experiments and where improvement could be made. This also resulted in an article.
